Snoop Dogg Is Opening His First Long Beach Business This Saturday

Snoop Dogg is coming home.

This Saturday, May 9, Snoop will officially open S.W.E.D. Long Beach, his new cannabis dispensary at 2115 E. 10th Street. The opening marks his second cannabis retail store in California and his first business in the city that raised him.

The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 p.m., with the Mayor’s office set to honor Calvin Broadus Jr. with a City Proclamation recognizing his impact on Long Beach, culture, business, and the community.

The store opens at 8 a.m., with activations running until 10 p.m. Guests can expect local food, beverage, and cannabis vendors, live entertainment, retro arcade games, DJ booths, Snoop’s personal lounge, a hologram experience, and his Hood Rich Lowrider on display.

The event is open to guests 21+ with valid ID, or 18+ with a valid medical cannabis recommendation.
