Rain and Cooler Weather Expected Tuesday as Pacific Storm Moves In
A Pacific storm system is expected to bring steady rain and cooler temperatures to the region on Tuesday, October 14, marking the first notable rainfall in weeks.
According to the National Weather Service, light to moderate rain will move in early Tuesday and taper off by late afternoon. Some areas could see brief downpours or an isolated rumble of thunder before the system moves east.
Daytime highs will fall into the upper 60s, with overnight lows in the mid-50s — a noticeable drop from last week’s warm, dry weather. Conditions are expected to clear by Wednesday, October 15, bringing sunny skies and gradually warmer temperatures into the weekend.
Forecasters are reminding drivers to take it slow on wet roads, especially during the Tuesday morning commute when the heaviest rain is most likely to hit.
After Tuesday’s system, no additional rain is expected through the rest of the week.
