Long Beach Coast to Host Pride Night at Blair Field Saturday

The Long Beach Coast will celebrate Pride Month with a special Pride at the Ballpark event on Saturday, June 20, at Blair Field.

As part of the event, the team has unveiled a Pride-themed version of its logo and will welcome Jewels Long Beach of Hamburger Mary’s to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.

In a video promoting the event, Jewels invited the community to come out and support Long Beach’s newest baseball team.

“Join me out at the ballpark. That’s right, Long Beach Coast. It’s Pride Night, Saturday, June 20,” Jewels said. “We’ll be starting the pre-show around 3:30, and I’ll be throwing out the first pitch.”

Jewels also encouraged residents to celebrate Pride Night while supporting the city’s new team.

“We have our very own minor league baseball team. I’m so excited. We’ll see you at Blair Field,” she said.

The Long Beach Coast will take on the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds, with first pitch scheduled for 4:35 p.m. at Blair Field.
